Pre-Suit Director

Dan Snellings, Esq., is a Palm Beach County Civil Trial lawyer, and the Pre-Suit Director at GOLDLAW.

The newest addition to the GOLDLAW team of attorneys, New Orleans native Dan Snellings joins the firm as the new Pre-Suit Director. A respected litigator with more than 30 years of courtroom experience, Dan’s litigation expertise has focused on auto/trucking/motorcycle/pedestrian accidents, and claims for damages associated with premises liability, maritime law, sexual abuse, and product liability. GOLDLAW is excited to have him aboard as the new leader of the Pre-Suit team.

Snellings has litigated personal injury cases throughout the country, from Wyoming to New York. He is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida, as well as the Court of Federal Claims and the United States Supreme Court.

Dan worked as a bartender during his college days at Trinity University (San Antonio, TX). After graduation, he worked as a TV News Reporter in Monroe, LA, before going back to school. He earned his MBA at Loyola University in New Orleans, worked as a paralegal for a year, then enrolled at Tulane Law School where he served as the Associate Editor of the law school newspaper and as the Associate Editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal. He received his JD in 1989.

OF NOTE…

  • Handled hundreds of personal injury and property damage claims following the tragic BP Deep Horizon Oil Spill.
  • Member of the New Orleans carnival krewe, Hermes, which rolls through the streets of New Orleans on the Friday night before Mardi Gras.

FAMILY

  • Happily married for 34 years, four kids, two grandkids.

HOBBIES

  • An avid fisherman, Dan has caught 399 species of fish on hook and line!
  • Also enjoys playing pool and frisbee in his down time.

FAVORITES

  • Enjoys all genres of music, especially New Orleans Blues. Favorite artists include Elvis, The Allman Brothers, The Revivalists, John Prine, and Jimmy Buffet.
  • A die-hard New Orleans Saints fan, he counts Drew Brees as his favorite All-Time Saint!
