Heart of the Game, Inc. (HOTG) Founder/President Craig Goldenfarb is pleased to announce that the non-profit’s biggest fundraiser, the annual charity golf tournament, will take place at the PGA National Resort and Spa, on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Proceeds from the tournament will allow Heart of the Game to continue its mission of donating Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and provide cardiac emergency response training to community sports venues, athletic organizations, schools, and clubs that focus on youth sports.
About HOTG
Since its inception in 2016, HOTG has provided more than 70 free AEDS to youth sports organizations throughout the state of Florida who otherwise could not afford access to the vital public safety devices. And yes…this is the same device that saved the lives of the Buffalo Bills Damar Hamlin, and LeBron James’ son, Bronny, after they experienced a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) while on the playing field/court.
The Tournament
This year’s HOTG tournament will take place on The Palmer course at PGA National. “The King,” named after its legendary designer Arnold Palmer, is one of the resort’s most entertaining courses. With plenty of opportunities for creative shot-making, it’s a great track for players of all skill levels. Featuring a great series of finishing holes, including the stunning, par-5 18th.
In addition to the 18-hole, shotgun start tourney, the event will also include a limited raffle for prizes, “Mulligans” packages, and a complimentary lunch. Registration is $500/person, or $2,000 for a foursome. Click here for additional info and to register.
