Navy veteran Richard Hixson was awarded $2,067,408 by a Palm Beach County jury
It’s been a long, hard road to get justice for Richard Hixson, but it all came together on March 20, 2023. Almost four years after being severely injured in a car accident where he was rear-ended, the 29-year Navy veteran was awarded $2,067,408 by a Palm Beach County jury, due in large part to the efforts of GOLDLAW Board Certified ® litigation attorneys Rafael Roca and Spencer Kuvin.

Severely injured after his vehicle was rear-ended by an inattentive driver, it took the case three years to come to trial after numerous attempts to settle were rebuffed by the defendant. And once the case did get to the court system, it took three trials to finally get the verdict, after the first trial in June 2022 was declared a mistrial, and the second in October, 2022 was postponed due to the defendant having a family issue.
Thankfully, the third time was the charm for Richard Hixson and his family.
